Our friends at were fortunate enough to receive a full case of samples of the upcoming Rebels Saga Legends action figure collection. From what is known, this sample set saw a production run of only 8 pieces of each, so it is unlikely we'll see loose shots just yet but the gallery they published illustrates just how awesome this line is getting. Follow this link to have a closer look!

One of the more interesting Star Wars product displays we saw at the 2015 International Toy Fair was at the massive Funko booth, which has doubled in size since last year. We're particularly pleased with their Hikari limited edition vinyl collection that offers collectors something more attuned to urban vinyl collecting with short run colorways and (brilliantly) exaggerated sculpt designs. Also revealed is the long awaited Super Showgun Boba Fett and the surprise Shadow Trooper. Follow this link to have a closer look at all the Star Wars they presented to potential buyers.

The absence of information on the action figure lines you love during the presentation paved way to the reality of what was displayed in the Hasbro 2015 International Toy Fair showroom. As much as it break our hearts, there wasn't a single new figure revealed. There was plenty of other stuff so there is still a gallery to look at, but not of what we've all come to expect from Hasbro. Clearly there is a larger picture here that isn't just yet completely revealed, but the popular lines amongst their team were "We're not ready to show you anything" and "We can't discuss our plans just yet." On a positive note, they have said that they "love The Black Series" and it will not come to an end any time soon, adding that they love and will continue to support "all scales".

Secretly, every single reporter and photographer covering Hasbro's 2015 International Toy Fair Entertainment Brand Preview Event for a Star Wars outlet was hoping that something would be announced regarding the upcoming collection based on The Force Awakens. No surprise, the Star Wars brand team was unable to speak about the upcoming feature film. Let's hope we see some action figures when we move downstairs...

The Star Wars portion of Hasbro's 2015 International Toy Fair Entertainment Brand Preview Event continues, and with all the time not spent talking about The Black Series they must have a lot of information on the Rebels Collection to pass on to us... Nope. They had nothing to say about this line of action figures either...

2014 Toy Fair 2015 Coverage
Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
