When it was announced that Disney was cancelling its Infinity game there were a lot of shocked gamers and Star Wars fans. But most LEGO Star Wars fans saw this as a glass half full scenario and have been having secretive conversations about the possibility of LEGO Dimensions characters being drawn from the Star Wars universe. And now, today, Warner Bros Games has addressed the issue with a statement that clearly and unequivocally says "maybe". At least it's not a "no"!

With all the hype about LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out on various consoles you'd be excused if you didn't know that it was also available for the iPhone and iPad via the App Store now. Be warned - the first three levels are free and then there are in-app purchases. The game costs $6.99 and the Season Pass (that has The Force Awakens game and includes all future content) is $9.99. There is an Android version coming but no word on when yet.

No that's not Mulder and Scully in the screencap above - it's actually JJ Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy who are playable characters in the newly released video game as discovered by Kotaku, who had an early release to preview, earlier today. Our own review will go live next week, right before our Celebration Europe III coverage kicks off.

The new 75159 UCS Death Star has been announced and it's 99.5% re-release of a set, at an additional $100, that was only retired less than 12 months ago. How do you feel about this addition to the LEGO Star Wars line?
Ecstatic: it's LEGO Star Wars after all!
Great: I didn't get a chance to buy 10188.
Fair to middling: I like to build and it has some nice new additions.
meh: the UCS range is meant to be special.
Harrumph: 10188 is cheaper on eBay.
Fuming: abject failure in market research and imagination.
