Our good friends at EFX Collectibles have sent word that they will be revealing their exclusive offering for the upcoming Celebration event in Orlando this week. We know it will commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars, it's the first piece in a brand new line, it will be limited to 500 pieces and it will be available to pre-order for pick up at the event or to be shipped after the show. What started as a snow shower is now becoming a blizzard as LEGOLAND Billund announces that their LEGO Day will be held on June 10th/11th this year. There is scant information up about the event at the moment but you can keep track of updates by connecting your browser to the park's event page at the official LEGOLAND.dk site.

Throughout the whole month of May, the park will host LEGO Star Wars Days activities transporting you into hyperspace and to A Galaxy Far, Far Away with costumed Star Wars fans, LEGO building activities and a costume parade. Word is out that the sought after 30611 mini build r2-D2 promo will be available at the LEGO Brand Store in Shanghai, China at the end of April. Thanks to promobricks.de we can share the news that this polybag will be free with LEGO Star Wars purchases of CNY269 (approximately US$40) between April 29th and May 7th (while stocks last). Feel free to click on the thumbnail above for a clearer image. This promotion should see a drop in secondary market prices and be hopefully repeated at other LEGOLAND parks for May 4th events.
