Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.

Rebelscum reader Drew W. from East Brunswick, NJ wrote in with the image linked above showing four Star Wars Character Bubble Toppers. Each bottle, including R2-D2, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Yoda, is being offered at Walgreens for $3.99. Completists should take note to the branded shelf box the bottles are displayed in.

While shopping at a Walmart in Sanford, FL, Chickaphant "came across some items in their 'build your own' Easter basket section. There were Darth Vader shaped plastic helmet-eggs, two different activity sets, a metal lunch-style box, a set of pens with bubble wands in them, and a plastic egg with 40 Star Wars Rebels tattoos in it. All of these item can be added to either the plush Yoda head basket, Rebels plastic bucket, or Rebels metal pail already out there, to create a nice Easter basket for you favorite collector or fan." Click the thumbnails above to see the images Chickaphant sent with this report.

The collaborative team of artist Tom Hodges and colourist Juan Fernandez has hit another home run with this very cool Boba Fett poster. If you are attending Celebration Anaheim this April, make sure to head over to the 501st Legion's booth to find out how you can grab one of these free posters but make sure to do so as early as possible as the 500 piece print run won't last long!

Unlicensed products have been a part of Star Wars collecting since 1977, and for some, it is the absolute focus of their collections. Lucasfilm has always let things go under the radar so long as they aren't mass produced, so we're interested to see what they'll do with Wiz Head. This is the first time we've seen this company but their booth at the 2015 International Toy Fair had four admittedly unlicensed Star Wars puzzles displayed. They were a bit cagey when we inquired, so we don't have much more to add. Click the thumbnails above for a closer look at some products that may yet hit a licensing roadblock.

We didn't spot anything new in The Tin Box Company's 2015 International Toy Fair booth, but for collectors of this sort of thing, there may be something there that they have not seen before. Follow this link to see all their Star Wars offerings.

Every year we see new Star Wars licensees joining the game, and the 2015 International Toy Fair was no exception. This year was the first time Roxo had Star Wars items on display. While they wouldn't let us shoot everything and weren't too keen on us even discussing what we saw, they were more than happy to let us show you their Light Up Charm collection. Since not everyone needs action figures to live Star Wars this product line may very well serve as a perfect entry level for some kids. Follow this link to have a closer look.

One of the themes that continued to reoccur at the 2015 International Toy Fair was the September packaging refresh. While The Force Awakens packaging designs were not displayed out in the open, many licensees confirmed the products they had on display would be repackaged for the big product launch. That said, products like Bladez Toyz' Radio Control Inflatable R2-D2, Yoda, and Darth Vader may see a very limited release in Rebels packaging. Follow this link to check out the Star Wars products displayed in their booth.

Following Mattel's star Wars Hot Wheels collection, Neat-Oh!'s 2015 International Toy Fair booth featured many Star Wars items intended on storing and interacting with the aforementioned character and movie cars hitting shelves in Rebels packaging. If retailer buyers bite, you can expect to see at least two car storage containers, a play mat, and two storage containers. Follow this link to see all the Star Wars stuff on display, and if you wear a completist badge, do note, the packaging is slated to be updated for The Force Awakens product onslaught this September.

Celebrating the hard choices many of us have faced in our early collecting days when our finances couldn't cover both a classic Kenner Han Solo (In Carbonite Chamber) action figure and a balanced diet, Kraft is producing a limited release series of Star Wars shaped Macaroni & Cheese boxes. The first wave includes four unique boxes including Yoda, Darth Vader, C-3PO, and R2-D2, and collectors that can still afford KD can anticipate at least four more character boxes with the second wave. Hats off to Greg Z. for the images linked above of all four boxes in the first assortment found at a Meijers in Champaign, IL.

This spotlight is totally ridiculous, but not the same way most TRA entries are. This crazy auction features one of fifty artist proofs used as thank you gifts for the people that helped Master Replicas make their Force FX lightsaber concept a reality. That alone is very cool and worth while paying attention to. In fact, the only thing that tips it to the TRA side of the scale is the letter included with the gift that Corgi CEO Michael Cookson wrote and signed for the saber he gave to himself! We couldn't make this up if we tried! Whether you want a piece in your collection with a funny story or if you just want a giggle for a moment, you have to follow the link above and check this one out!

Comic Images' display wasn't that dissimilar from many other licensees we visited at the 2015 International Toy Fair. The products were more or less familiar, and all hopes hung on The Force Awakens banner that both said nothing and spoke volumes. Follow this link to have a look at their booth.

Our 2015 International Toy Fair coverage continues with a look at some of the interesting new items developed by ThinkGeek. When looking through this gallery, take note that it is all mock up packaging, and it is not likely any of these items will be released with the Rebels colors, and if any of them do, you can expect them to be in short supply with the massive September launch of The Force Awakens products. Follow the link above to see what they have planned for release in 2015 (and 2016 in the case of the Death Star Waffle Maker).

Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
