With a flurry of excitement over a highly sketchy list (admits the compilers) of rumoured Winter 2016 and Spring 2017 Star Wars sets comes something slightly more concrete. Circulating the usual social media sites is a picture of a new Han Solo minifig which is reputedly going to be part of the rumoured 75159 Death Star set. Click the banner above and enjoy. Incidentally there are two exclusives being sold through LEGO brand stores in September - and since 71040 The Disney Castle goes on sale on September 1st there is an outside chance that one of these sets could be the Death Star. That's me adding two and two together and getting a clutch of straws.

Out now and with the first level available to download for free, Android users can now play is LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Expect to pay between $9.49 and $12.99 by installments as each chapter, character pack and extra levels are released though.

With all the hype about LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out on various consoles you'd be excused if you didn't know that it was also available for the iPhone and iPad via the App Store now. Be warned - the first three levels are free and then there are in-app purchases. The game costs $6.99 and the Season Pass (that has The Force Awakens game and includes all future content) is $9.99. There is an Android version coming but no word on when yet.

The long awaited Summer 2016 sets from LEGO have started to appear in Australia with a wild 75145 The Eclipse being spotted by Rod Addamo, via the Star Wars LEGO Australia group on Facebook, at the Toy Kingdom in Epping (Victoria) priced $64.99. If LEGO follows standard procedure, they'll distribute their sets before they go to light-speed, err I mean country-wide, soon.

The winter solstice has passed which means Spring is (slowly) approaching - so it's soon going to be time to get organised and cleaning. These fabric shelves, cubes, toy boxes and hampers that Target are now stocking in store and selling online will certainly help the cause.

Following up from our report that Target would be sticking the exclusive 75098 UCS Attack On Hoth "in the near future", it would appear that the future is now as it has been reported at branches of Target in NSW, QLD and VIC within the last few hours.

With all the hoopla on the internet and in the press it's amazing that The Force has got a wink of sleep since Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment announced that it was LEGO-ising the plot and converting it into a multi-platform video game, but tomorrow it rises from its slumber. David Webb has shared the news, via the Australia Lego Star Wars Society on Facebook, that the much-debated UCS Assault On Hoth (75098) is going to be available in Australian stores at some point in the near future.
