Today's Photo Archive update begins a new series of updates that will focus on the "Shadows of the Dark Side" subset of toys from The Vintage Collection. This line is the realistic-style toys that are in the "Blue Skies" packaging, consisting mostly of store exclusives like the Walmart-exclusive Jabba's Throne set. Based on Return of the Jedi, this set includes an all-new Jabba, Oola, and throne, with repacks of the railing, hooka pipe & bowl, and also Salacious Crumb.

It's beginning to look a lot like...Hoth! Today's Photo Archive catches up with one of last year's Target-exclusive multipacks, recreating the Battle of Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back. The Attack on Hoth set includes Blizzard Force repaints of the Imperial AT-ST, an E-Web Cannon, 2 Snowtroopers, and an all-new all-different AT-ST Driver! These realistic action figures and vehicle are new added to the The Vintage Collection, under the "Shadows of the Dark Side" banner.

With Target's purchase of the Canadian department store chain known as Zellers has levelled the playing field for collectors above the 49th. Now we no longer have to rely on eBay to get the cool Target exclusives. In stead we get the exact same toys minus the Target sticker. Recently the Landspeeder and Luke Skywalker's Tauntaun have been hitting the shleves up here, and as such I was able to shoot a pile of pictures of both.
