Gentle Giant Studios has turned their skills toward a sculptural depiction of one of Jabba the Hutt’s chief minions—the Gammorean Guards. These fellows, dominant on their home planet Gamorr, favor ancient weapons like the axe. They are much too set in their ways to pick up a blaster! Gamorreans generally worked their way up from the slave class into their more appropriate work as guards and soldiers. Tricked by Jabba into serfdom at his palace, most came to a bad end as depicted in Return of the Jedi.
