SYNOPSIS
Maul stands at the ready as eight bodyguards charge him, defending the Vigos they serve. He dispatches them quite quickly; the Guardian, Weequay, Phuii, Gamorrean, Falleen, assassin droid. The bodyguards leader, an Iktotchi, attempts to use his mind powers on Maul, to be shocked at the darkness he sees within and dies of fright. Maul retrieves his lightsaber and enters the main chamber of the Black Sun fortress.

As Maul enters, Alexi Garyn, his bodyguard Mighella, and his aide Oolth descend in a private lift to his private hangar. Maul continues to finish off the remaining Vigos and Asa Naga.

Mighella turns from Garyn, needing to face this compelling evil. She attacks Maul and they duel, her energized sword versus his double-bladed lightsaber. Maul disarms her, but she utilizes force lightning to drop him to his knees. But even force lightning cannot stop the fury that is Maul. He stands and slices he in two.

Oolth sneaks off as Maul approaches Garyn. Garyn reveals that he might have been a Jedi, at one point in his life. He pulls an energized knife from his cloak and slices Maul across the chest. Maul takes him by the throat and drowns him in the underground lake.

Maul returns to the secret Sith hideout, and meditates, when Darth Sidious approaches. Sidious wants to know if any survivors exist to compromise their plans. Maul informs him there are not. Sidious is pleased and tells Maul that he has another task for him to accomplish.
