Dark Horse Extra was a 25¢ periodical sold thru comic specialty shops. It was 14 3/4" wide and 21 1/2" tall, folded once vertically. On some occasions it may also have been folded again horizontally. It contained three serialized strips, two on the front page and one on the back. Inside was a full page poster (measuring 14 3/4" by 21 1/2") and a full page devoted to upcoming releases called "Scoops from the Stable" by Ivana Fanboy. The rear page also featured an ad and a column on the Dark Horse Web Site called "DHC Web Words" by Jay Pegg.
This issue also features Usagi Yojimbo: Tsuru part 3 by Stan Sakai and Ghost: Cracked Mirror part 4 by Chris Warner & Chris Brunner, plus a poster for Grendel: Past Prime by Matt Wagner.
