COMMENTS
Dark Horse Extra was a 25¢ periodical sold thru comic specialty shops. It was 14 3/4" wide and 21 1/2" tall, folded once vertically. On some occasions it may also have been folded again horizontally. It contained three serialized strips, two on the front page and one on the back. Inside was a full page poster (measuring 14 3/4" by 21 1/2") and a full page devoted to upcoming releases called "News from the Stable" by Ivana Fanboy. The rear page also featured an ad and a column on the Dark Horse Web Site called "Rumblings in the Force" by Jedi Master J'lee Sondaw.

This issue also features Planet of the Apes part 1 by Scott Allie, Eric Powell & Dan Jackson and Angel part 1 by Joss Whedon, Brett Matthews, Mel Rubi, Chris Dreier & Dan Jackson, plus a poster for Outlaw 7 by Logan Lubera.

Thanks to Joe K. for the review copy and cover scan of this issue.
SYNOPSIS
Xiaan relates stories to Quinlan Vos of his adventures with his Padawan, Aayla Secura, including missions to Solibus IV and Xoman Three. Quin regrets that he cannot remember these; that they are only stories to him.

The young padawan also tells him of another time when Aayla actually sought her out and presented her with a special gift, a Hearts of Fire from Quin's homeworld. Aayla tells Xiaan that it holds a little bit of the giver and the receiver in it. Xiaan then presents it to Quin to aid him in his search for his padawan.

Now that you've had your first look at Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, the Probe Droid is curious what you think of the set.
I'm attending SDCC and will certainly get this awesome set!
I'm attending SDCC but have no interest in this line.
I'm not attending SDCC but hope to get this awesome set somehow.

I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
