COMMENTS
Dark Horse Extra was a 25 periodical sold thru comic specialty shops. It was 14 3/4" wide and 21 1/2" tall, folded once vertically. On some occasions it may also have been folded again horizontally. It contained three serialized strips, two on the front page and one on the back. Inside was a full page poster (measuring 14 3/4" by 21 1/2") and a full page devoted to upcoming releases called "News from the Stable" by Ivana Fanboy. The rear page also featured an ad and a column on the Dark Horse Web Site called "DHC Web Words" by Jay Pegg.

This issue also features Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Willow & Tara part 1 by Andi Watson and Usagi Yojimbo part 3 by Stan Sakai & Jason Hvam, plus a poster for Star Wars Infinities: The Empire Strikes Back by Chris Bachalo & Tim Townsend.

Thanks to Joe K. for the review copy and cover scan of this issue.
SYNOPSIS
Anakin is blasted with Force lightning by the Dark Jedi Alysun. Obi-Wan jumps in to deflect the blast, but is overcome himself. Suddenly a mynock comes flapping down the hall, drawn to the electrical discharge from the Jedi's fingers. Et Rex comes in with another mynock and lets it loose on her. She is overcome by the creatures that are feeding on her energy.

Later, with Alysun bound in a Force dampening device, Et Rex recalls how they used to be friends and Anakin claims that the council will never believe the events that have occurred. Obi-Wan disagrees, since a Jedi often has to believe that things are not as they appear.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
