Dark Horse Insider was a free preview of upcoming Dark Horse titles. It was printed in black and white, and featured single pages with a few panels, and a short description of the an upcoming title, along with credits, price and scheduled shipping date. Occasionally they would publish two pages from an upcoming issue or interviews with different creators.

This issue contains a four page, black and white preview of Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith.

Other items of note in this issue include the Madman codebreaker contest winners, an Interview with Max Allan Collins, the 2-page Tales of the Mask part eleven, on the set of Time Cop the movie, Photo Finish (judging the Manga art contest), plus the Horse's Mouth letter column.
