COMMENTS
This comic was included in the Hasbro Star Wars Comic Packs #2, which includes a Darth Vader and Rebel Officer figure painted in the style of the Marvel artwork. This issue is a reprint of Marvel's Star Wars #1, with some minor alterations to the cover (including publisher, number, price, and the inclusion of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary logo). See that issue for further information.

This comic pack was reissued and repackaged in mid-2009 (circa August 2009) as part of The Legacy Collection line of toys, as pack #1.

This issue fixes the cover logo, connecting the 'S' and 'T' of the word Star, which was incorrect on the first issue of the Marvel series.

While these 2-packs did not start shipping until December 2006, the indicia lists the publication date as May 2006.

Thanks to Bob M. for this comic.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
