This comic was included in the Hasbro Star Wars Comic Packs #3, which includes a Governor Tarkin and Stormtrooper figure painted in the style of the Marvel artwork. This issue is a reprint of Marvel's Star Wars #2, with some minor alterations to the cover (including publisher, number, price, and the inclusion of the Star Wars 30th Anniversary logo). See that issue for further information.

While these 2-packs did not start shipping until December 2006, the indicia lists the publication date as May 2006.
