Originally mentioned in the From The Editor update on DarkHorse.com on 12/1/2008: "There is certainly something to be said for the joy of giving, and we at Dark Horse are overjoyed to deliver a Star Wars gift for you. I hope you'll forgive us if the gift arrives a few days late for the holidays, but it's not scheduled to debut until Wednesday, January 7, 2009. See, the new issues of MySpace Dark Horse Presents go live the first Wednesday of each month, and the January issue of MDHP contains part one of an all-new Dark Times story!

Ever since the events in Revenge of the Sith, Dass Jennir has been trying to find his place in a galaxy where being a Jedi carries a death sentence. Previously, he has made some questionable choices -- which have cost him his friends, and his belief in himself. Now, down to his last Republic credit, Jennir must decide whether to cling to his Jedi ideals and at the very least starve, or to accept an unsavory job from the kind of people who ask no questions and keep no employment records. If being a Jedi makes him an outlaw, can he be an outlaw and still be a Jedi?

This new story, entitled "Blue Harvest," is written by Mick Harrison and illustrated by Douglas Wheatley, both old hands at chronicling this period of Star Wars history. The preview images you see here are of Wheatley's finished artwork prior to colorist Dave McCaig making his contribution. After online segments in January and February, the story will jump to Dark Times #13 (April 22, 2009) for the start of a five-issue arc.

Jennir's two-part quest begins in MySpace Dark Horse Presents #18, and is brought to you absolutely free of charge by your pals at Dark Horse. We hope you experience the joy of getting!"

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
