ARTIST PROOF

Source: (Master Replicas)

Year: 2002

Assortment: N/A

Retail: Not available at retail.

Production Sequence: N/A

Comments: A Master Replicas Artist Proof is designated by a special plaque with no release number. Rather, it has "Artist Proof" where the number would normally be. Other than the plaque, there is generally no difference between an Artist Proof and a normal edtion replica. Artist Proofs are generally used internally, as gifts, for marketing and other similar things. At one time, some Artist Proof pieces were sent to Master Replicas Collectors Society Gold Collector Circle members as an annual award. Artists Proofs were often used by Master Replicas as replacement parts after first removing the plaque from the package. Artist Proofs were not sold to the public.
