Celebration III is almost upon us! Rebelscum thought this might be a good time to give readers the low-down on some of the more collector-oriented events that will be going down in Indianapolis.

It doesn't get much better than a free autograph, and that's exactly what you can get if you swing by the Official Pix booth in the Exhibitors area Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Rebelscum has teamed up with OfficialPix.com to bring Mr. Barrie Holland to Celebration III. Since we couldn't get Rebel Scum Harrison Ford or Carrie Fisher to come sign at the booth, we opted for Mr. Holland as he's the one that got to do the "You Rebel Scum" line in Jedi that we long ago picked as the name of the site.

You can stop by Thursday, Friday or Saturday to get his autograph free when you purchase the photo for $5.00, or if you bring your own item, it's free, but please limit your own items to two.

On Sunday, Barrie will be signing an Official Pix C3 photo in the autograph hall for free with purchase of that photo so if you want both, you'll need to visit both places.

The free Rebelscum swag doesn't stop at Barrie Holland! As most people around here know, Star Wars isn't going to end with Episode III. We know fans are very excited about the prospect of a live-action Star Wars series, continuing the 'toons, and of course more books and comics. Over the summer we've heard Lucasfilm use the old Kenner campaign slogan "Star Wars is Forever". We'd like to help reinforce that kind of thinking. As such, we've had made 5,000 pins to give away at C3. They are small (photo is larger than life) but should be instantly recognized by those in the know when seen.

While they last, each of the Rebelscum and Theforce.net team members will have pins to hand out, one per person please. We're also going to pass some around to others to give away so if you see somebody wearing one, see if you can find out where they got it.

Looks for the Rebelscum team to be manning the Official Pix photo and autograph booth in the exhibitors hall (not to be confused with the autograph hall). If you are really lucky, you may even snag one of the special C3-edition (click here for the regular version) Rebelscum.com pins as well!

Note: We will allocate pins to each day of the show.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
