A daring and lucky pilot, Wedge flies as if he were born behind the controls of a starfighter. His sharp instincts allow him to coax performance out of his X-Wing that would tear the air frame out from under many other pilots. More than one TIE Fighter pilot has been blown out of the sky while marveling at his maneuvering. At the Battle of Yavin, he flew heroically, but critical damage to his fighter forced him to withdraw from combat.
