Darth Vader has become obsessed with finding the young Rebel who blew up the Death Star. He and his master are certain that this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker. Following up on a probe droid lead, Vader quickly identifies the hidden Rebel base on Hoth and orders General Maximilian Veers to lead a team of AT-AT walkers to destroy the Rebel shield and power generators. Veers clears the way for Vader’s landing, but he arrives too late, as the last of the Rebels flee Echo Base in the Millennium Falcon.
