Davish 'Pops' Krail was a talented and intelligent fighter pilot with decades of experience behind him. His quick eye and head for tactics made him an invaluable wingman, while his ability to ignore threats and focus on his objective made him an ideal bomber pilot. it was his voice that calmly urged Gold Squadron on towards their target, even as they were systematically blown out of the sky by Darth Vader. Even as his ship broke apart around him, he used his last transmission to warn Red Squadron of the fighter assault.
