  • Species: Human, raised on Tatooine by his aunt and uncle
Status: Rose precipitously from obscure moisture farmer to Rebel hero
Weapon of Choice: Lightsaber, Blaster Pistol
Characteristics: A strong control of the Force, just like that of his father
Comments: Young and impulsive, Luke was already a phenomenal pilot when he arrived at the Rebel base on Yavin, having developed his skills hot-dogging his T-16 through Beggar's Canyon. Even so, without trusting in the Force, he might never have landed the proton torpedoes that destroyed the Death Star.

    Points of Interest:
  • This all-new version of Luke Skywalker comes complete with...Darth vader's lightsaber hilt?
  • The coin
  • The back of the card incorrectly lists Obi-Wan Kenobi as 30-06. it should be 30-05.
  • Photography by Dan Curto
  • Also included with this figure is a folding pamphlet that shows other toys in The 30th Anniversary Collection.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
