  • Comments: Before the beginning of the Clone Wars, little attention was paid b the people of the Republic to the barren world of Geonosis. The discovery of a Separatist stronghold by Obi-Wan Kenobi, however, and his subsequent capture, led the Jedi to dispatch reinforcements to the desert world. There, on the vast alkali plains of this blasted and rocky world, the first battle of the Clone Wars was fought, and the name of Geonosis was forever seared into the pages of galactic history.

Jango Fett: Secretive, silent and pitiless, Jango Fett was a consummate warrior, nearly the equal of many Jedi in single combat. Serving as bodyguard to Count Dooku on Geonosis, he leapt without hesitation into the battle against the massed force of Jedi Knights, only to fall against the great Jedi Master Mace Windu.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Wise beyond his years, Obi-Wan Kenobi displayed an unusual amount of skill for a Jedi Master his age. As a result, he was often chosen for some of the most dangerous and sensitive missions, including tracking the deadly Jango Fett to his paymasters on Geonosis.

Count Dooku: A political idealist and former Jedi, Count Dooku was the architect of the Separatist movement, as well as the secret hand behind many of the most brutal and violent battles of the Clone Wars. Though he presented a refined veneer, it was he who ordered the execution of Anakin, Padme and obi-Wan on Geonosis.

Aayla Secura: This beautiful and highly intelligent Jedi Knight was one of the 200 Jedi sent to Geonosis to free their captured brethren. She was one of the few to survive the battle in the Geonosian execution arena, and took command of a clone trooper division in the subsequent attack on Separatist forces.

Super Battle Droid: The Jedi faced hundreds of these tough, new battle droids on Geonosis, which were equipped with enhanced armor, weapons and artificial intelligence devised b the brilliant engineers of the Techno Union.

    Points of Interest:
  • Jango Fett is a repaint of 20002's SAGA jango Fett (Final Battle) 02-31.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi is a repaint of 2003's CLONE WARS Obi-Wan Kenobi 03-45. This time around, his harness has been added incorrectly.
  • Count Dooku is a repaint of 2003's SAGA Darth Tyranus (Geonosian Escape) 03-03. This time around, he does not have the magnetic left hand, and the lightsaber is not metal.
  • Aayla Secura is a repack of 2005's ROTS Aayla Secura (Jedi Knight) III-32.
  • Super Battle Droid is a repaint of 2005's ROTS Super Battle Droid III-04. This time around, he does not have the cannon arm. Also noteworthy is that the way he is packaged has distorted his legs to such a degree that he can barely stand straight.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
    It isn't for me.
