Assortment: Saga Legends

Retail: $6.99

Assortment Number: 84190/85770

Weapons and Accessories:

  • Storage Locker
  • Episode I Collector Coin
  • Model: DUM unit
    Status: Podracer repair
Weapon of Choice: None, but very strong
    Characteristic: Cheap and expendable
Comments: Pit droids help repair and maintain podracers with zealous efficiency. Small yet incredibly strong, pit droids often dash onto the racetrack before the vehicles have stopped, risking their mechanical lives in their eagerness to get to work.

    Points of Interest:
  • Pit Droids are repaints of the Bonus Pit Droid figures which were only available outside of the US, in place of the Commtech Chips. This time around, the Pit Droids are available as a 2-pack set, with one of the accessories.
  • There are several planned running changes planned:
    • 2 Pit Droids (standing) with power converter (white)
    • 2 Pit Droids (standing) with power converter (brown)
    • 2 Pit Droids (standing) with power converter (orange)
    • 2 Pit Droids (sitting) with storage locker (white)
    • 2 Pit Droids (sitting) with storage locker (brown)
    • 2 Pit Droids (sitting) with storage locker (orange)
  • The original plan was to include both sculpts together, but those plans have changed when one of the sculpt's tooling could not be located. Since fans want both versions, Hasbro recreated the tools for the missing figures and accessory. The droids' date stamp now reads "2007".
