2004 International Toy Fair New York

For the past few years, Master Replicas has created a series of lightsaber and weapon props from the Star Wars franchise, and recently branching out into other props from the films such as thermal detonators, canes, and medals. The tradition continues in 2004 with a few new FX lightsabers, some new blasters, and an amazing prop of an AT-AT Walker, which we were given complete access to photograph from ever angle.

Starting with the lightsabers, a new line of mini-lightsabers are coming out, including a Jedi Collection of Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mace Windu. A Sith Collection of Dooku, Vader and Maul will accompany this set later this year.

The Force FX line will increase this year to include Mace Windu, Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, and Luke Skywalker. When displayed next to each other, they really light up the counter. Each blade is made of durable materials, although dueling is not recommended.

The line of blasters for 2004 will include a Rebel Fleet Trooper blaster, an Imperial Stormtroopler blaster, and Princess Leia's blaster al from A New Hope. The Leia blaster was on display, and we were able to get some nice detail shots of it against a white poster board.

Another interesting new item on display is the Star Wars FX Jacket from A New Hope. This jacket features moving lights that animate on the jacket showing a scene of Luke Skywalker's X-Wing narrowly escaping Darth vader's TIE Fighter, while the Death Star looms in the background.

But without a doubt, nothing compares to the newest prop in the line from Master Replicas...the Limited Edition AT-AT. Only 1,000 will be made in the series, and this had fans drooling throughout all of Toy Fair. Before we even saw it for ourselves, we heard about it from a few others. Eager for a closer look at this stunning replica, the folks at Master Replicas gave us an exclusive look by removing the protective cover and letting us get up close and personal. Rather than explain describe it, I'll just show a gallery of photos for everyone to enjoy.
