  • Comments: Luke Skywalker has escaped his scheduled execution in the Great Pit of Carkoon, home of the terrifying Sarlacc. Boba Fett temporarily captures Skywalker using his rope-firing wrist gauntlet. The Jedi and his Friends, however, have luck on their side, especially when Han Solo accidentally activates Fett’s backpack and sends him tumbling into the Sarlacc’s digestive system!

Boba Fett: As the galaxy's most notorious bounty hunter tumbles into the Great Pit of Carkoon, one would assume that Fett's days are numbered. This resourceful and fearless warrior may have other plans though...

Lando Calrissian: Lando is in a real sticky situation! Han Solo reaches out with a staff to rescue his friend from the clutches of the Sarlacc.

Han Solo: Han's eyesight starts to return after a long period of hibernation. He can now see that his friends are in a dire situation!

Luke Skywalker: Luke gives Jabba the Hutt one final warning before he makes his daring escape. Jabba foolishly laughs at Luke's threat, and it will ultimately be the last mistake he ever makes.

Weequay Skiff Guard: This skilled skiff guard battles the Rebels during the botched attempt to execute Luke Skywalker.

    Points of Interest:
  • Boba Fett is a repack of 2006's TSC Boba Fett SAGA-006.
  • Lando Calrissian is a repaint of 2004's SAGA Lando Calrissian (Jabba's Sail Barge) 04-07.
  • Han Solo is a repaint of 2006's TSC Han Solo (Carbonite) SAGA-002. This time around, he's been repainted ever so slightly.
  • Luke Skywalker is a retool of 2004's SAGA Luke Skywalker (Jabba's Palace) 04-04. This time around, his left leg has been repositioned to be in a lunging stance.
  • Weequay Skiff Guard is a repaint of 1997's POTF2 Weequay Skiff Guard. This time around, he has been given a flimsy SAGA-style Force Pike.
  • This set was at one point called "The Demise Of Boba Fett" and "Battle At The Pit Of Carkoon."

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practice of driving around all the nearby toy stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
