Amidst plenty of reports of RO finds in North America, Chris B. sends word that he scored the first wave of 3-3/4" figures at K-Mart in the Cheltenham Southlands Shopping Centre. Priced AU$20 they thankfully rang up at AU$15 when he got to the cashier.

Starting this Thursday (September 29th) - and just in time to make room for the sets that are sure to get put out for the very first time on Force Friday (October 30th) - Big W is reducing the price on LEGO Star Wars sets 75148 Encounter on Jakku, 75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter and 75151 Clone Turbo Tank by roughly 20%. Funko posted to their blog a list of all their New York Comic Con exclusives and two Star Wars Pops! made the list this year. First, the cool new "Space Monkey" Bistan from the upcoming Rogue One, and then a prequel classic fans have been wanting - Qui Gon Jinn!

The new 75159 UCS Death Star has been announced and it's 99.5% re-release of a set, at an additional $100, that was only retired less than 12 months ago. How do you feel about this addition to the LEGO Star Wars line?
Ecstatic: it's LEGO Star Wars after all!
Great: I didn't get a chance to buy 10188.
Fair to middling: I like to build and it has some nice new additions.
meh: the UCS range is meant to be special.
Harrumph: 10188 is cheaper on eBay.
