TUSKEN RAIDER Star Wars Discover The Force
The Discover The Force action figure collection was sold exclusively in the US at Walmart. The card backs for this collection are similar to the Movie Heroes collection, but feature 3D glasses on the left side of the card and a special 3D image on the card backs. The first assortment of figures in this line included brand new figures based on Aurra Sing, Ric Oliť, Mawhonic, G8-R3, Naboo Pilot, and the Gungan Warrior, along a repainted Tusken Raider, and repacks of the Evolutions Darth Maul, the 30th Anniversary Collection Destroyer Droid, the Legacy Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Evolutions Qui-Gon Jinn, the Vintage Collection Tusken Raider (Sand People), and the Revenge Of The Jedi Yoda. Each figure in this assortment features one of four randomly packed black display stand, a playing card, and a black six-sided die.

About This Figure
  • The Discover The Force Tusken Raider is a slight repaint of the 2006 Vintage Saga Collection Sand People figure. This time out, the figure, which was already nearly perfect, is treated to a nicer dark wash. Unfortunately, it still has the swivel elbows from the original release, and that point of articulation, while groundbreaking in its day, is extremely limiting in terms of what collectors like these days.
  • For added dynamics, we recommend Water Treating the soft goods on this figure. Simply run the figure under the tap, in any desired pose, and allow the fabric to get saturated with water. Then just let it sit and presto! Instant awesome... After a couple of hours of drying that is.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
