2015 Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Destined to bring balance to the Force, Anakin Skywalker fell to the Dark Side and arose as Darth Vader.

The Darth Vader action figure was released on September 4th, 2015 as part of the Star Wars Force Friday event. It was one of the twelve single carded figures released around the world as multiple companies launched their product lines based on The Force Awakens. This first assortment also included new character and sculpt debuts of the First Order TIE Fighter Pilot, Poe Dameron in his pilot gear, a Resistance Trooper, the villainous Kylo Ren, the First Order Flametrooper, the mysterious Captain Phasma, the righteous Constable Zuvio, the fugitive Finn (Jakku), the First Order Stormtrooper, and the scavenger Rey (Starkiller Base) as well as the previously released Luke Skywalker action figure. Each figure in this line included additional pieces that can be combined to build up a larger weapon.
