Gentle Giant Ltd announced the production of the Princess Leia Organa (Hero of Yavin) Mini Bust featured on this page at the Star Wars collector panel at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. The prototype was put on public display for the first time in their booth at the 2017 Star Wars Celebration. Collectors started receiving theirs in January, 2019.
