  • Comments: The Royal Guard is Emperor Palpatine's elite security force. Clad in striking red robes, they are respected and feared throughout the galaxy for their elegant and deadly fighting skills. Candidates are chosen from the ranks of the Imperial squads and trained on the barren world of Yinchorr. They work hard to master the lessons being taught to them, for their very lives are at stake: When Darth Vader tests them in the Crucible arena, they do not get a second chance if they fail the test.

Emperor Palpatine: Accompanied by Darth Vader and surrounded by Royal Guardsmen, Palpatine visits Yinchorr to observe students at the training ground.
    Point of Interest:
  • Emperor Palpatine is a slight repaint of the figures from 2005's The Sith Evolutions set.

Darth Vader: Vader tests a candidate's skills in the Crucible arena. A master in the art of combat, Vader makes short work of the class's "best" student.
    Point of Interest:
  • Darth Vader is a repack of the figure from 2006's A New Hope Commemorative Tin Collection set.

Royal Guard: Each member of the Royal Guard has undergone grueling tests of combat reflexes and stamina, and is trained in the deadly art of echani.
    Points of Interest:
  • All 4 Royal Guard are the same: they have new sculpted parts, but the legs are the same as 2007's TAC Clone Trooper (Training Fatigues 30-55). Alum Frost and Lemmet Tauk have new head sculpt
  • Kir Kanos and Carnor Jax have the same head sculpts as the figures from 2006's TAC Carnor Jax & Kir Kanos Comic Pack.

    Alum Frost:

    Carnor Jax:

    Kir Kanos:

    Lemmet Tauk:

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
    It isn't for me.
