A commander in the 501st Legion, Appo and his troops obey Palpatine’s command to storm the Jedi Temple and eliminate all the Jedi inside. Shortly afterwards, Appo and a squad of troopers follow Darth Vader to Kessel in order to deal with a small band of Jedi who escaped the initial purge.
While this figure is called "Commander Appo", it's actually Commander Bow from the Dark Horse comic book Star Wars: Purge. Appo's armor in Revenge of the Sith was identical to the rest of the 501st Legion.
