LUKE SKYWALKER Luke Skywalker (Hoth Outfit) The Black Series

While on patrol on Hoth, Luke is attacking by a carnivorous Wampa that drags young Skywalker to its icy lair. Although wounded, Luke is not ready to become the Wampa's next meal.

In the fourth quarter of 2014 the first wave of figures in The Black Series revamp began to hit shelves across North America. The assortment comprising of repaints, repacks, and a single kit bash figure, including the character debut #01 R5-G19, the kit bashed #02 Luke Skywalker pictured here, the repacked #03 Darth Vader, the repainted #04 Darth Malgus, the repacked #05 Starkiller (Galen Marek), and the repacked #06 Yoda, featured a brand new card back design that did away with the minimalist style seen previously in favour of a layout that harkened back to the 2008 Legacy Collection and The Clone Wars packaging.

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practise of driving around all the nearby store stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
