This spotlight is totally ridiculous, but not the same way most TRA entries are. This crazy auction features one of fifty artist proofs used as thank you gifts for the people that helped Master Replicas make their Force FX lightsaber concept a reality. That alone is very cool and worth while paying attention to. In fact, the only thing that tips it to the TRA side of the scale is the letter included with the gift that Corgi CEO Michael Cookson wrote and signed for the saber he gave to himself! We couldn't make this up if we tried! Whether you want a piece in your collection with a funny story or if you just want a giggle for a moment, you have to follow the link above and check this one out!

Comic Images' display wasn't that dissimilar from many other licensees we visited at the 2015 International Toy Fair. The products were more or less familiar, and all hopes hung on The Force Awakens banner that both said nothing and spoke volumes. Follow this link to have a look at their booth.

Our 2015 International Toy Fair coverage continues with a look at some of the interesting new items developed by ThinkGeek. When looking through this gallery, take note that it is all mock up packaging, and it is not likely any of these items will be released with the Rebels colors, and if any of them do, you can expect them to be in short supply with the massive September launch of The Force Awakens products. Follow the link above to see what they have planned for release in 2015 (and 2016 in the case of the Death Star Waffle Maker).

If you haven't checked your local Target in a while, you may want to swing by. Image above was sent in by Brian J and was shot in Madison, WI at the East Side Target.

Our friends at Jedinews.co.uk were fortunate enough to receive a full case of samples of the upcoming Rebels Saga Legends action figure collection. From what is known, this sample set saw a production run of only 8 pieces of each, so it is unlikely we'll see loose shots just yet but the gallery they published illustrates just how awesome this line is getting. Follow this link to have a closer look!

Going into their second year with the Star Wars license, Mattel had surprisingly little on display in their Sneak Peek Event at the 2015 International Toy Fair. That said, we loved everything we saw. Follow this link to have a look at all they had on display. We've been made aware that there is more stuff showing in their main showroom, so we've added it to our wrap up list, so with luck we'll have a follow up before we head home.

Did you heart just skip a beat? Yeah, ours did too when we heard it and ran over to Revell's 2015 International Toy Fair booth as fast as our little feet could carry us (which was surprisingly fast considering how heavy our cameras are theses days...), but alas, it was just mock up packaging and no descriptions were listed. The information embargo continues and everyone is keeping their lips sealed. Click the thumbnails above to have a closer look at their Star Wars display and let us know how cool you think that mock up packaging design is and whether you'd give your front teeth for one of them.

Follow this link to see what's coming from Yomega.

We were happy to visit with Fascinations at the 2015 International Toy Fair, and even more pleased to see their Star Wars Metal Earth 3D Model Kits collection would continue forward into 2015, and the Rebels packaging would give way to The Force Awakens influenced packaging design once Disney's giant product release is underway (much) later this year. Follow the link above to have a look at what they had on display.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
