This comic was included in the Hasbro Star Wars Comic Packs #1, which includes a Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos figure. This issue is a reprint of Dark Horse's Crimson Empire #6, with some minor alterations to the cover (including number, price, logo and the inclusion of the Dark Horse 20th Anniversary logo). See that issue for further information.
These packs were initially only available as online retailer exclusives, but did start showing up at brick-and-mortar stores, with the difference that on the re-issued versions, the helmets had clear visors instead of being opaque.
While these 2-packs did not start shipping until October 2006, the indicia lists the publication date as May 2006.
