SYNOPSIS
On the desolate planet Yinchorr, surviving Imperial Guardsman Kir Kanos faces off against would-be Dark Lord Carnor jax in what will be a struggle to the death. They battle back and forth at their training facility known as the Squall, with Jax getting the upper hand and using the Force to hurl a large rock into the back of Kano's head.

At the same time, New Republic leader Mirith Sinn and her bodyguard Sish Sadeet enter the atmosphere and destroy Jax's shuttle. They land near the Squall and see the battle, but Sadeet also sees a sniper hiding in the rocks. It is Blim, Jax's personal assistant.

Back in orbit around the planet Paheda, Massimo escorts the last of the rebels on board the New Republic Super Star Destroyer Lusankya and then asks its commander, Wedge Antilles for a fast ship so he can assist Sinn.

On Yinchorr, the fight continues with the deadly blades of the force pikes. Kanos removes his damaged helmet and continues to beat on Jax. Jax get first blood on Kanos but he quickly retaliates and stabs Jax in the shoulder.

Through a gun sight, Kanos is targeted, but before Blim can draw the shot, he is killed by Sadeet. The sound distracts Kanos, and Jax seizes the opportunity to knock Kanos off the high platform around the Squall, leaving him haging by one hand on the edge.

Sinn and Sadeet confront Jax, who attacks them, and would kill them if not for Kanos intervening. Sadeet attempts to shoot Jax, but Sinn orders him to stand down. They need him alive. Jax uses the Force to take Sadeets blaster and points it at Kanos. But Kanos is not with the New Republic. He stabs Jax through the heart, killing him.

Sadeet charges Kanos, angered and Kanos kills him as well. Kanos apologizes to Sinn, but he must take care of the rest of the traitors to the Empire. A short while later, Massimo lands his shuttle and gets an update on the deaths around them from Mirith. She vows revenge on Kanos, wearing to be his executioner.
