The fourth annual Rebelscum.com Hasbro Wishlist Poll continues in our forums! We're running an extensive poll to learn about what Rebelscum readers are hoping to see in future Hasbro Star Wars action figure assortments!

The nominations are closed and The Clone Wars - Realistic finalists have been announced!

But first...a quick explanation is in order so you know what this is all about.

When The Clone Wars was first announced, there was a lot of speculation as to just how Hasbro would handle the toy line. Would the toys be sculpted in the traditional realistic style? Would they be in an animated style, much like the 2003 Clone Wars figures? The answer was given during Toy Fair 2008, and the collecting community has been divided ever since. Some love The Clone Wars figures, some hate it, some collect both. The obvious question was would there ever be any characters that jumped over, either animated-style figures made in a realistic stlye, or vice versa? Per Lucasfilm's direction, both lines have remained separate. Until last year.

During Celebration V, news came out that Lucasfilm has changed their minds, and Hasbro now has permission to create realistic-style figures based on characters from The Clone Wars TV show. This wouldn't be a separate line of figures, but would instead be incorporated into the realistic line (currently known as The Vintage Collection). It also wouldn't be a huge number of figures, since there's still a desire to stay true to the look of the show.

So, when we were planning this year's wishlist poll, we wanted to have this category included for sure, but we tried to use a little logic in the character selections. Since we knew that it wasn't going to be a huge number of figures, we immediately added the following main characters from the show that seemed like obvious choices. This list was originally only 5 characters (Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Rex, and Cad Bane), then we added Cody (although I still say that there's not a lot of difference between his TCW and ROTS armor), then we added the "new looks" from season 3 for the main heroes (we didn't know about them initially). So, these 9 figures automatically were added to the finalists.





From there, we opened the voting up to the members of the collecting community to nominate who else they'd like to see made. The following list represents the top characters you'd like to see made.
