Previously unknown, a third version of Hasbro's Rebel Trooper re-pack has surfaced in the latest cases coming out of Hong Kong. Though difficult to notice off hand, the figure joins its re-pack partner, the Imperial Officer, with an all new second head sculpt. The good news is, unlike the Imperial Officer, both heads appear to be shipping now. While investigating cases of the Padmé Droid Factory Chase, and Barriss Offee waves, I stumbled across the second version by mistake. According to the copies I could find, the Trooper with reddish hair and sideburns (center) has a date stamp of 23181, while the black haired trooper without sideburns (right) is stamped 30061. Shown side by side with the original Power of the Jedi version (left), it's clear to see all three figures offer a different head sculpt, though the bodies are identical. With new figure cases heading to U.S. shores, toy fans seeking to add both versions to their collections will want to keep a eye out for each.

Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
