In a lot of ways, this is the wave of figures Star Wars collectors have been waiting to get for years. Not only do we get new sculpts, we also get a couple of surprises. Without further ado,

The Battle Of Endor

Moff Jerjerrod

In TESB we were introduced to an ambitious Imperial Officer that gave us our first truly human look at the Empire, but at the end of the day Piett still seemed like a bad guy. The same couldn’t be said for Jerjerrod. You really felt like you were in his shoes when Vader informed him of the Emperor’s displeasure and imminent arrival. Hasbro seems to have felt the same way too, and as such are offering us a brand new sculpt for the Moff.

Chief Chirpa

This long awaited figure hasn’t seen itself on the shelf since 1983. As leader of the heroic Ewok tribe that pretty much put the Empire in its place, this bad boy is a no brainer. Even though Hasbro could have easily copped out by rehashing any of their superior Ewok sculpts (save Wicket which unanimously we can all agree sucks), but they decided to do it up proper. Chirpa will be a brand new sculpt.

C-3PO (Ewok Deity)

How many years have you wanted a 3PO that can sit down? Even if this figure is stuck in his thrown -which we hope and pray it isn’t- you can count on being more than pleased with his new sculpt.

Death Star Gunner

Judging by the image above, it sure looks like someone was missing a piece of his uniform on class picture day. How embarrassing. No word on whether this absolutely new figure will sport the incomplete look, or if it will be suited in it’s full costume.

Luke Skywalker

While this figure comes with a soft good poncho, it is uncertain whether he’ll be wearing his full Jedi gear with tunic and belt or his Death Star duel gear, but considering that this figure is being retooled from an existing mould, let us hope with all our hearts that it is the former.

Rebel Endor Soldier

So far we’ve seen three different versions of these guys since the modern line started. With the fourth version of these jovial grunts, don’t expect to see something entirely new since Hasbro is only offering a repaint. Maybe if we're really lucky it'll have an alternate head sculpt.

Darth Vader

Well, we know it’s a retool and there is nothing really drastic you can do to Vader, it would be cool nonetheless if he came with a funeral pyre. He doesn’t, but it would still be cool.

The Emperor
