The telltale signs that the, now, $51,000 Yak Face is a fake:

-The fonts on the card are all wrong

-The blister is too narrow

-The colours behind the figure and the name tag are wrong

-The colour space behind the figure isn't wide enough

-There is a logo missing by the Kenner logo

-There is a word missing in the French age info.

And if that weren't enough, bidding history would suggest someone was shilling the price up to go over $1000. Subsequently, it would appear as though Star Wars collecting watchdogs have been trying to up the value to the point anyone not seeing this warning won't accidentally buy it.

This seller is also offering an incredibly bad custom Blue Snaggletooth figure, so it seems that this auction isn't a misunderstanding, but an actual scam.

Check out the real MOC Yak Face to see the difference, and not the more accurate bid value.

Poll
What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
