Star Wars (2013) 4

Well, it's not really Leia vs. Vader. More like Leia and her stealth squadron vs the Imperial spy in their ranks! But this series is just getting ramped up, with it's classic trilogy action! Also in this issue Han Solo flees from the Empire through the lower levels of Coruscant, and Luke Skywalker enjoys being grounded with a female friend (wink, wink)! If you are not reading this series, then you are missing out on not only some great Star Wars comics, but great comic books in general. Brian Wood, Carlos D'anda, and Gabe Eltaeb know how to do this right.

Also available today at your local comic book store, is a sketch variant for issue #1. These will be extremely limited, so make sure to get there early! And if you haven't decided if this series is right for you, make sure to pick up a copy of the 4th printing of issue #1 next week!

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars #4.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
