A new chapter in the ongoing Star Wars series by writer Brian Wood begins today as Leia discovers the best way to figure out what the Empire is up to, is to get captured on purpose! Ryan Kelly, a new penciller to the Star Wars universe takes over, while Rodolfo Migliari continues on covers. And for fans that find themselves at San Diego Comic-Con this year, look for the SDCC 2013 variant cover to this issue at the Dark Horse booth.

Also out this week is the collected Purge comics Trade Paperback. Fans have had to wait quite a while to get enough of these comics out that they could be collected, but that day is finally here. This set includes the original Purge, plus the follow up's Seconds to Die & The Hidden Blade, plus the recent two-parter Tyrant's Fist.

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars #7.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
