This month sees the return of regular artist Doug Wheatley to the
Dark Times title, with their newest arc, "A Spark Remains." As Jedi Dass Jennir also returns to be with the crew of the
Uhumele, he discovers that they have teamed up with another Jedi to attempt to destroy the iron fist of the Empire, Darth Vader! This will not end well! Randy Stradley continues these post-Episode III adventures and Benjamin Carré is providing the covers. Hands down, this is the best comic series currently being generated.
Also on sale is the penultimate issue of Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin, issue #4. Each of the previous three issues have been so vastly different from one another that it is almost impossible to predict what to expect. What we do know is that Vader is looking for a powerful weapon on a deadly planet, while a hired killer (the ninth assassin of the title) hunts him down! What could possibly go wrong? Newcomer to the
Star Wars universe Tim Siedell and Stephen Thompson bring the Dark Lord to life.
