The Star Wars 4 The Star Wars 1 (2nd print)

The Star Wars reaches it's midpoint this week with issue #4 (of 8). General Skywalker and Jedi-in-training Annikin Starkiller have a deadly encounter with mounted Stormtroopers! An encounter with outlaws in a cantina leads to a meeting with smuggler Han Solo! And a Jedi makes the ultimate sacrifice to save one of Princess Leia’s younger brothers! It's an amazing duel in the desert with the Cantina scene that was never seen! If you are not reading this alternate-take on the world of Star Wars, adapted by JW Rinzler and Mike Meyhew from the original script draft by George Lucas, then you are missing out!

You can start to catch up with the 2nd printing of issue #1, also on sale today with a 'virgin' cover–sans text!

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: The Star Wars #4.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
