Now showing up in mailboxes and hitting newsstands on Tuesday, March 4 is the
100th issue of
Star Wars Insider. This issue features two striking Darth Vader covers. The newsstand version in silver and the special Diamond Distributors version in gold. This issue celebrates the 100 best things about
Star Wars along with the usual departments.
Who would have believed that in late 1987, when the Official Fan Club started publishing the
Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine, that 21 years and
100 issues later we'd still be reading about
Star Wars and all things Lucasfilm? After 22 issues, and the knowledge that
Star Wars was forever, the
Lucasfilm Fan Club Magazine became the
Star Wars Insider. Since then, it's been published by Wizards of the Coast, Paizo Publishing, IDG Entertainment, and most recently by Titan Magazines.
What will the future hold for this publication? No one knows for sure, but with
The Clone Wars and the live-acrtion TV show in the works, there should be no shortage of
