One of the rarest Lucasfilm Licensee gifts produced in the last twenty years has found its way to eBay. The Pit Droid maquette replica was given in thanks to licensees and other key players for their efforts in promoting Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace in 1999. The gift features a reproduction cast off the actual Pit Droid maquette used in preproduction of the Saga's first chapter and came in a special glass dome case and a Lucasfilm logoed thank you card. It is believed that Lucasfilm only had between 200-300 of these maquettes replicas produced.
