Ah, the vintage Blue Snaggletooth....many a Star Wars collector can recite the story of its origins; one of haste making mistakes...but in this case, not waste!

The designers of the vintage line of Star Wars action figures were in such a rush to get out the Cantina playset back in the late 70's, they failed to research the character of Snaggletooth properly and created a blue, extra tall version. Soon the error was caught, and the properly-size, red Snaggletooth was born.

You would think that the blue Snag was difficult to find today. Well, now that a new Blue Snaggletooth has hit the shelves, many fans can have this piece of odd Star Wars history all to their own. However, if you want to have the original vintage figure, it will cost you more, but they are not all that difficult to find. A search today yielded more than a dozen auctions for this fella, and here are but a few:
