The months leading up to May 21st, 1980 were the most incredibly nerve-racking months of many of our young lives. For the first time ever, The Star Wars Generation
waited (im)patiently for a new Star Wars
movie. Back in those days, movie trailers didn't really make films look good (but we didn't care), but the newsstand was littered with positive notes telling us how much our minds would be blown
with the release of The Empire Strikes Back
. They were, of course, telling the truth. All the journalists' words came true. Our minds were indeed blown.
