Why is it impossible to get awesome original
Star Wars posters at realistic prices? Some of the rarest posters, such as
The Empire Strikes Back 1980 Los Angeles premiere 8-Sheet are very valuable, but the last time this poster exchanged hands it was for around $4,200, and there was some stiff competition, so that kind of sets that actual value in our eyes. We're not sure why the seller now feels that it is worth $51,000, but that's what they are asking. As always, remember that an auction price doesn't indicate actual value, so make sure to always research ridiculously expensive items to discover their true value. Despite the inflated prices, the posters linked above are very cool to look at.
