Die Macht Mit Uns is a 139 page, full colour book that explores, chapter by chapter how Star Wars has influenced people and pop-culture all over the world and in a variety of ways. The chapters breakdown as follows:
- The Intro
- The Fans
- The Veterans (featuring interviews with several actors)
- The Web
- The Media
- The Merchandising
- The Masses
- The Credits

Here’s a translation of the back of the book:

"Darth Vader, Han Solo and Yoda - today every kid around the world knows the heroes of Star Wars. Lightsabers, Jedi Knights and the Force are widely recognized, too. And even princess Leia’s "buns” are somehow a part of our cultural heritage. No film has influenced today’s Thirtysomethings more than George Lucas’s space opera.

"Die Macht Mit Uns” tells the tale of how Star Wars became a part of everyday life in amusing stories, bizarre details and funny episodes. Read about location-archaeologists, marathon-running Stormtroopers and spaceships on the front lawn. Why Darth Vader is more famous than Shakespeare, how a boy with a broomstick morphed into a global celebrity overnight and how Jedi nearly became an official religion. Meet the man behind the world’s largest Star Wars collection and learn about Han Solo dog chow. See Star Wars on stage, as an educational video for cockroaches and take a peek into the Kamasutra for Scoutwalker."

Die Macht Mit Uns is written entirely in German but would be a great addition to any Star Wars library. It’s can be purchased for 9,90 Euro through Amazon Germany and shipping to the US is available.

What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
