There's still a week to go before ToyFare #109 is published and the Hasbro Fan's Choice Figure winner will finally be revealed. Will your favorite character make it into the winner's circle and be forever immortalized in plastic? Find out the official results when the magazine is released on July 12th.

Back when the second round of voting began, I started an exit poll in our forums where members could share who they voted for and discuss which one of the 25 characters they wanted most. That particular thread has since gone through three incarnations, and the debates are still running strong.

After tallying up the votes from our own UNOFFICIAL exit poll threads, the following chracters have emerged as the top 5:

#5 Willrow Hood - Ice Cream Maker Guy from The Empire Strikes Back

Willrow Hood truly defines what a fan's choice figure should be! Starting out as a "Tibanna gas miner" background character in Cloud City, he gained notoriety when Star Wars fan Scott Pearson created the now-legendary moniker "Ice Cream Maker Guy" for him. Gathering nearly 2,000 signatures in a petition for his own figure, Willrow Hood has a huge fan-base. But it looks like we might have to wait a bit longer for the BespinBerry Blast creator to get his own figure.

#4 Bastila Shan from Knights of the Old Republic

Fans want KOTOR figures! Although 5 characters from the video games series were eligible, it was female Jedi Knight Bastila Shan who garnered the most votes. Her history with both sides of the Force make her one of the most interesting characters from the game. Let's face it...any female figures are a welcome addition to the Star Wars line, and one who wields a double-bladed lightsaber would be great.

#3 Clone Commander/Galactic Marine from Battlefront II/Revenge of the Sith

One of the many new clone troopers from ROTS, the Galactic Marines are under the leadership of Commander Bacara on the planet Mygeeto. After Order 66 was given, Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi was gunned down. Decked out with special armor for cold-weather climates, this guy has already been confirmed for 2007, so it would be a shame if he won the poll as well.

#2 Quinlan Vos from Dark Horse Comics Star Wars and Star Wars: Republic

Starring in the past few years' worth of comic book tales, Quinlan Vos would make a great figure, as he is possibly the single-most requested character in recent years. He was mentioned in Revenge of the Sith...so isn't it time for Quin to join the line? Apparently yes, since he's rumored to be part of a 2-pack of Expanded Universe characters. The only question is which outfit will he sport? The classic Jedi robes, or the armor he wore during the Clone Wars?

#1 Yarna D'al Gargan from Return of the Jedi

Jabba's Palace was home to a wide variety of aliens from across the galaxy, including the "fat dancer" named Yarna D'al Gargan. Her unique appearance has no doubt earned her popularity with fans, in addition to the fact that she is a character from the Classic Trilogy. Plus, Yarna was planned for the Vintage Kenner line before it was cancelled, so fans want another chance to see her in action figure form.

Well, there you have it! Since these are UNOFFICIAL (have I stressed that enough?) results which make up only a part of the collecting community and the world at large, it will be interesting to see how these results stack up against the official top 5 revealed next week in ToyFare #109.

And for those keeping track, I've updated the "status chart" with the 5 "Forum Favorites" in the ad shown above.
